Produced by Our Family, to Feed Yours
As we set out to find our spot in the wonderful world of animal agriculture, we came across many different ways to raise beef. We started out as cow-calf producers where we own mother cows and sell weaning calves in the fall, the most common type of operation. While this is an excellent method, when the calves were sold, our story with them ended. We had no idea where those animals would end up and certainly the consumer eating it had no idea where it originated. There is also plenty of misinformation and deception in the marketing of our food supply that sometimes it is hard to know what is best. So…we went to work and decided the best way for us moving forward was to see the story through. We wanted to raise our calves until they were ready for harvest and build a relationship with our customers to ensure a quality experience for both our customers and our animals. We want our customers to know exactly what went into the production of their beef and we are always willing to share what we are doing.
We strive to use the best practices in both animal husbandry and land stewardship and are always willing to learn new techniques that will increase the quality of life of our cattle as well as ensure we are taking care of our soil and water.
